Waste Free Week 2008

The Norfolk Waste Partnership organised and ran a Waste Free Week across the County in October 2008. It encouraged members of the public to sign up and take part, change their habits to minimise their waste as much as possible, and report back on how they found the challenge, and how much they were able to reduce their waste by.

Over 500 people took part, and the completed report forms were a great source of information as to the problems encountered and the tips and methods people used to reduce their waste during the week. While many found it very challenging, generally those who took part found it interesting, revealing and worthwhile, and many have made permanent changes as a result. The below report is a summary of the findings.
