Recycled Garden Competition

As part of Recycle Week 2009, Norfolk Schools were invited to enter a competition to design a Recycled Garden, using only the materials that can be put in the kerbside mixed recycling bins in Norfolk - paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and steel and aluminium tins and cans.

The winning school will receive £300 and the two runners up £100 each to spend on gardening related equipment for the school.

The overall winner was this excellent garden from Mundesley Junior School.

Well done and thank you to all the schools that took part.  The judges were all impressed by how good all the designs were and found it very difficult to choose just one winner.
