Join Norfolk's Recycling Revolution

Norfolk's residents are now able to put even more items in their recycling bins at home.

•·         Glass bottles and jars

•·         Plastic food pots, tubs and trays

•·         Cartons, like those used for soups and juices

As well as the card, paper, steel and aluminium cans and plastic bottles which we can currently recycle.

We'll even be able to put the lids for plastic bottles in our recycling bins - as long as they are kept on their bottles.

The changes are down to an £8m investment at the materials recycling centre at Costessey near Norwich by the operator, News, which has seen the latest high technology equipment installed, with the ability to sort a bigger range of materials even more efficiently.
