Recycling rewards in West Norfolk

Thanks to a £270,000 grant from central government, the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk are rolling out an innovative two-year project to improve recycling rates across the borough.

Local residents will be at the heart of developing a new campaign to encourage people to recycle the right materials in the right way – and you can earn a great range of rewards for doing your bit.

Local people have already embraced recycling, but the focus is now on making sure that everything in your green bin can be recycled.

Residents input will be crucial in making this campaign successful. Using their own personal experience, you can help inspire your friends and neighbours to reduce, re-use and recycle.

The Borough Council have been busy getting Recycling Rewards up and going with residents sending in their updates on how well they are recycling.  To find out more and how to get involved if you are in their area, take a look at their webpage www.west-norfolk.gov.uk.
