Recycling in Schools

recycling in schools

The Schools Waste Action Club (SWAC) is an exciting Norfolk County Council programme that provides hands-on help and advice on waste reduction, reuse and recycling in schools. SWAC is a free service offered to all Norfolk schools that links curriculum-based activities to practical waste reduction initiatives. Through activities like waste audits, SWAC helps pupils and staff to identify waste issues within the school and encourages them to develop their own waste minimisation action plan. Activities include waste-free lunches, paper recycling, wormeries and mobile phone recycling.
