Waste Free Week

27 October -2 November 2008

Join the challenge to reduce your impact on the environment and recycle and compost as much as you can during Waste Free Week!

Waste Free Week

Norfolk councils teamed up to run Norfolk's first Waste Free Week and challenged everyone to reduce the amount of rubbish they threw away to nothing.  Participants were encouraged to use only products that could be recycled, reused or composted, avoiding things going in the rubbish bin.

Waste Free Week began on Monday 27th October and finsihed on Sunday 2nd November.  If you took part in the challenge and you send us your results you will be entered into our prize draw to win one of the following: -

  • £100 of Marks & Spencer vouchers
  • Tickets to visit Pensthorpe country park near Fakenham
  • A Bewilderwood ‘WILD WILD WILD card' worth £99.  This gives the winner and up to 5 guests, three visits to the adventure park near Wroxham.

You can fill in an online version of the Record Sheet here.

Don't forget that by letting us know how you got on, you can claim a free copy of the recipe book Eat Well, Waste Less.

Thanks to everyone that signed up to take part.
